Every American Red Cross blood drive is hosted by a volunteer, someone just like you. Businesses, churches, synagogues, community organizations, and schools all work voluntarily to assure that there is enough blood for anyone in our community who needs it.
To be sure we have an adequate supply of blood on the shelves, we work weeks and months ahead of time to identify who will host the blood drives each and every day, and to determine how many donors to expect.
New blood drive hosts are always needed, especially around major holidays. In other words, we need you!
